Florence RV & Automotive Specialist has assisted their clients in locating and selling their RVs, Automobiles and Marine Craft from this location for more than 35 years.

What started out as a simple courtesy to our clients grew into a full time business of it’s own. Today we maintain an average of 25 vehicles for sale year around.

Our goal is simple, we secure the best price possible for both our sellers and our buyers, and manage to earn a small margin of profit for ourselves in the midst of that for our services.

We do not charge any flat rate consignment fees, or added advertising fees or a set percentage of the final sales price, although we understand why other outlets do.

We simply come to an agreement on howmuch you will be paid upon the sale of your vehicle, if it needs any repairs those repairs can either be made in advance of listing it for sale, or in some instances will be provided upon the sale and  deducted from the amount due at that time.

While we do not provide any warranties with the items we consign for sale, occasionally merchandise may still have some transferable warranty coverage, we will assist and direct our buyers with whatever direction and instructions we can.

 

We can and will at the request and authorization of a prospective buyer, complete a Pre-Delivery-purchase-Inspection on vehicles sold. This inspection may help to identify any issues, and help insure that everything is in good working order when the new owner takes possession.

Florence RV and Automotive Specialist has maintained a towing service as part of their complement from the onset. Today we have three tow vehicles in our small fleet, two roller backs and one traditional tow truck.

 

We do not tow vehicles who have traveled off the main roads and byways, most specifically out on to the Dunes or backup in the mountains on dirt roads.

We are on call with all of our law enforcement agencies, i.e. Oregon State Patrol, Lane County Sheriffs Department and Florence Police Department. We are also a Certified AAA Towing Service in this area.

We work with numerous Insurance Providers and will be happy to assist you in securing reimbursement for our services when its appropriate.

We understand that circumstances will sometimes make it difficult to bring your needs to us, and so when those times occur, we do our best to bring our services to you.

Florence RV & Automotive Specialist, is setup for mobile diagnostics and repairs when it’s warranted or at the request of our customers. Our Shop and Mobile Rates are identical, so when our technicians are required, or requested to work in the field, our mobile units are armed with most of the necessary tools.

We do at times encounter situations that require additional equipment or parts, and that will equate or result in more time, and in this line of business, time is valuable. Please voice any questions or concerns you may have in these regards.

There are many instances where it is feasible and cost effect for our technician to come to you and make your repair on site. In those instances we will schedule a time to arrive, make repairs in an expediently and get you back on the road again ASAP.

Florence RV & Automotive Specialist offers nearly four acres of RV, Automotive and Marine Out Of Doors Storage Space at the back end of our property.

There is a large RV Turn Around loop at the back end of our property, the center of that loop is set aside for overflow from our service center, the remaining area on the outside parameters of that driveway is reserved for storage space.

The three sides of the property are surrounded by thick brier patches and trees, that make it a challenge even for black bears to traverse through. As you enter the facility you are under security camera surveillance, not to mention that there are multiple parties who reside full time on the facility grounds.

The area is patrolled by local law enforcement and the State Patrol office is near the rear corner of the property. We have had very little trouble with theft or vandalism at this location over the years.

The storage space rate is $60.00 per month, there is no minimum commitment requirements, it is a month to month contract, you may pay in advance if you prefer but it is not necessary.

We do require that all stored vehicles are registered and insured by their owners as a matter of policy.
