2001 Ford F-350 Dually 7.3 Diesel

$10,500

This truck should be sold and gone by now.  It’s a towing machine, that is setup for towing a 5th wheel trailer but will hold a full size Camper or pull any other kind of trailer you can imagine.

The Ford 7.3 Diesel engine is considered by most in the Diesel engine industry to firstly be the best Diesel Engine ever built by Ford, and many also asserting that it was the best diesel engine of its class ever built by any manufacture.

The 7.3 PowerStroke, has documented a large number of these engines, when properly services and cared for, with well over a million miles. I personally own a 1997 F250 Super Duty with this same engine, and have never owned such a reliable and dependable truck as this one has been for me.

In fact if someone would like to purchase my truck, I will gladly sell my truck to someone and buy this one from the proceeds for my next Ford Truck. I’ve owned Ford Trucks all my life.

The body and interior are in very good shape, no dents, scratches, the glass is all good, the seats are all cloth upholstered and in very good condition, the truck has just a little over 200,000 miles on it.  Everything checks out as being in good condition.

The Ford 5 speed automatic transmission with push button overdrive, really is a godsend when climbing or descending mountain grades, with or without a load.  A tap of the button on the end of the gear shift sends it into Tow Mode, which uses the engine and transmission in a combined process to brake the vehicle as you descend or shifts it to a lower gear when climbing that provides you with the acceleration and power you need to move up and over without losing speed.

There are “Chip Kits” available for this engine on Amazon that I had installed in mine, that really make a difference, in increased horse power and fuel economy.  I gained about 30 Horsepower and went from 17-18 MPG up to 20-22 MPG, although I also followed the advice of a fellow RV owner, who recommended that I operate my vehicles at or under 2000 RPMs, which I’ve documented really does provide for significant fuel economy improvements.

The Tires are all in great shape with lots of miles left on them.  There is also a 20 rated 5th Wheel Hitch in the bed that can handle any size 5th Wheel Trailer you like, there is also a bumper pull hitch assembly installed complete with wiring for either.

I’ve furnished a fair number of photos and a video for you to review. If you have further concerns or questions, or just want to pursue the prospects of purchasing this truck, you may email me: consignment@florencerv.com or you can text and or voice message me at 541-991-2001.

My name is Scott, I’m the sales manager here and look forward to speaking with you if you are interested in this or any of our other offerings.
